really wish i decided to walk for graduation.
there’s a void where “CONGRATS ON GRADUATING!” “GOOD JOB!” “CONGRATS GRAD”, pomp and circumstance playin’ in the background, people cheering, should be.

my graduation was me getting a postcard in the mail in march. hey, come get ur diploma it’s waiting here for you in the registrar’s office. me going in 2 months after that, giving an attendant my id, signing a paper with my id number, and being grumpily rushed away.

is it too late to have a graduation party?
probably. i will bake myself a celebratory tray of brownies while listening to a midi file of pomp and circumstance.
